Daniel Shadbolt puts in solid performance at the World Championships

Last week under the beating summer sun in Milan at the World Coffee Championships, Dan Shadbolt did Australia and Veneziano proud putting in a consistent and solid roasting performance over the three day contest.

In Dan's first visit to the World Championships he placed in 12th position with a final points score of 458.08. The top three on the podum in order were Felix Teiretzbacher (Austria), Simo Christidi (Norway) and Wisnu Aji (Indonesia). Final results can be viewed here.

The three day final involved a series of rounds including sample roasting, blending, roasting and cupping.

Watched on by his coach, Jack Allisey and co-founders, Rocky Veneziano and Craig Dickson it was both a challenging and rewarding experience for Dan and all at Veneziano are proud of his achievements.

Special thanks to a number of sponsors and supporters who helped Dan prepare in Australia for these championships including Cafe Imports Australia, ASCA and Inkofe.
