This coffee is a blend of smallholder lots sourced from Coocentral, a progressive cooperative located in one of the most famed growing regions in Colombia, Huila. We have been working with Coocentral for four years now and it has been incredible to see both their own, and the communities, progress. Coocentral works with approximately four thousand small producers in Huila’s seven central municipalities; Garzon, Gigante, Agrado, El Pital, Tarqui, Suaza and Guadalupe. Services that Coocentral provide range from basic purchase and milling services all the way to comprehensive educational programs, financial support and agronomic services. 
Coocentral are also dedicated to raising the presence and quality of coffee drunk within Colombia (typically low grade) through building their own cafes and roasting brand which provides producers in the region to sell coffee to the internal market as well as export. 

India Sethuraman Estate Robusta

Historically Robusta has had a bad image amongst specialty coffee. This was all changed by the man behind this famous Robusta farm in India. Nishant Gurjer produces unequivocally the world's best Robusta and has been awarded this honour 8 times now. We are proud to travel to this farm every year to monitor the harvest and are proud to be the only Australian roaster who Nishant works with. This coffee brings huge body and a delicious bittersweet cocoa flavour.
