Being able to assess coffee accurately and confidently is now a pre-requisite for any specialty barista. Without formal training, the process of becoming a good “taster” can take many years.
This workshop invites you to train your senses and is designed for coffee professionals and anyone who would like to develop their sensory skills and improve their ability to assess coffee profiles.
This 2hr interactive class will give you a better understanding of how you perceive tastes, aromas and flavour. There will be four interactive stations designed to help you develop and test your sensory skills using aroma kits, organic acids and sweet/sour/salt solutions.
