Caramel, blackberry, baking spice, hazelnut. Coating mouthfeel and ripe mandarin acidity.
Our second release for the year introduces Nicaragua La Estrella, one of the only coffees from Nicaragua we’ve bought in recent years. We’ve paired this with a delicious, sweet coffee from Brazil and the bright, juicy Rwanda Nyakarenko.

Located close to the border of Honduras in the Nueva Segovia department, and part of the Cordillera de Dipilito Natural Reserve, the area has a rich biodiversity of flora and fauna. The La Estrella mill was opened in 2013 by Caravela to provide producers with a new market for their coffee. This lot comes from small producers living close to the mill and provides the blend with notes of hazelnut and dark chocolate.
