Finca Parritilla was purchased by the Mora Moreno family in 1980, and is named after the town it is located in. It is now run by William Mora Moreno who has been focusing on growing their coffee production, dedicating 16 of their 20 hectares to coffee trees.
William processes his coffees at the ASOPROAAA wet mill which was established in 1998 following the devastation of Hurricane Mitch. The association now supports more than 1,100 families producing coffee, citrus and farming cattle.
