Finca La Yamila is based in the southeastern egion of Ecuador in the province of Chinchipe. Ramiro Rosales owns and operates the two-hectare farm which has approximately 5,000 coffee shrubs. The coffee here is harvested at peak ripeness, sorted, depulped and fermented in water for 20 hours. It is then washed multiple times and placed on raised beds to dry for an average period of 2 weeks.
