MICE is a little earlier this year, and in true fashion it’s fast on the approach – its only two weeks away!
Held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (another change this year!) from Thursday 7th February to Saturday 9th February 2019, we’ll be at stand 80 so please come and say hi. As always, we’ll have an amazing array of new coffees on the brew bar to taste but we’re also excited to be showcasing a few new things that we’ve been busy working on. In addition to all the coffee you can consume, we’ll be running workshops throughout the weekend and even a Roasting Masterclass hosted by international coffee expert and author, Scott Rao.

ROASTING MASTERCLASS WITH SCOTT RAO – Saturday 9th February 8am-11am
We’re excited to have coffee expert and author, Scott Rao joining us to host a three-hour Roasting Masterclass at Veneziano Coffee Richmond. With over two decades of experience as a barista, coffee roaster, and consultant, Scott will be sharing insight into the methodologies he has collected over many years consulting. Whether you are a novice roaster or a veteran with decades of experience, you will leave with plenty of useful new ideas and methods to implement at your roastery.

CUPPING WORKSHOPS – Thursday 7th February, Friday 8th February & Saturday 9th February, running twice daily at 11am and 3pm
Taste and discuss the differences in processing, varietal and terroir using spectacular coffees. Via a triangulation cupping, guess the coffees correctly to go in the running to win a selection of microlot coffees daily.
