Another key difference between the two machines is their milk heating and texture settings. The Bambino Plus features three adjustable milk heating and texture settings, while the Bambino has only one default setting. This means that with the Bambino Plus, you have more control over the milk texturing process, allowing you to create a wider range of coffee drinks with different milk textures and temperatures. Overall, while both the Bambino and Bambino Plus are great espresso machines, the Bambino Plus offers more advanced features and customisation options that make it an ideal choice for coffee enthusiasts who want more control over their coffee brewing process.

It is important to regularly clean your Breville Bambino Plus espresso machine to ensure that it continues to operate at peak performance and to prevent any buildup of oils or residue that can affect the taste of your coffee. Breville recommends cleaning the machine after every use, particularly the 54mm portafilter, steam wand, and drip tray. This involves rinsing these parts with hot water and wiping them down with a clean cloth. It is also recommended that you descale the machine every 2-3 months, depending on the level of usage, to remove any mineral buildup that can occur from using hard water.

The Breville Bambino Plus does not come with a grinder included in the package. It is designed to work with freshly ground coffee. Breville offers several grinders that are designed to work with their espresso machines, including the Breville Smart Grinder Pro and the Breville Dose Control Pro.
