The Janson family story in Panama dates back to 1926 when a young Carl Axel Janson left Sweden and arrived in Volcan, Chiriqui Province falling in love with the natural beauty of the area. In 1990 his sons took over and founded Janson Coffee driven by their father’s values of hard work and love of the land. Today the business is led by Kai, Janette and Miguel Janson producing exceptional quality lots of Catuai, Catarra, Pacamara and Gesha.
Gesha is known for its unique cup quality especially when grown at high altitudes. We have hand selected Janson Lot 194, a natural gesha grown at 1,700 metres above sea level.
