About Rwanda Karengera Washed
Nestled in Rwanda's Western Province at 1,674 metres above sea level, the Karengera Coffee Washing Station brings together over 1,000 smallholder farmers growing Bourbon Arabica on rich volcanic soils. Each harvest is meticulously processed using a fully washed method with the cherries hand sorted, floated, pulped within hours of picking, and fermented before being dried on raised beds under the Rwandan sun. The result is a beautifully expressive cup bursting with cherry, plum and cranberry notes and roasted to shine across both filter and espresso.
