This natural processed Pink Bourbon delivers guava, pinot noir, persimmon and cantaloupe in a cup that is bold, tropical and deeply complex. Roasted for filter or espresso.

Café Granja La Esperanza began not as an empire, but as a single farm. Finca Potosi was founded in 1945 by Juan Antonio Herrera and Blanca Ligia Correa in Colombia's Valle del Cauca and it is here that the Herrera family first learned to grow exceptional coffee. In the decades since, CGLE has grown to encompass five farms across the region, each a showcase for the family's relentless pursuit of quality. Potosi remains the heart of it all: the original, the benchmark, the farm where the standards were set.
The CGLE team have built their reputation on doing what others won't. They seek out varietals that don't traditionally belong in Colombia grafting, adapting, experimenting and apply processing methods that demand an almost obsessive level of precision. Pink Bourbon is one of their most celebrated varieties: visually striking, genetically complex, and capable of producing a cup that sits somewhere between a fine wine and a tropical orchard. In the hands of CGLE, it reaches its full potential.
This lot is naturally processed which means the whole cherry is dried intact allowing the fruit to ferment slowly. The result is a coffee that is full and expressive. Expect layers of guava and cantaloupe giving way to the vinous depth of pinot noir and the honeyed warmth of persimmon. It is a coffee that rewards attention, whether pulled as espresso or brewed long as a filter. As with every Pinnacle release, quantities are finite. Once it's gone, it's gone.
