This lot comes from the Chelelektu washing station built in 2010 in the heart of Yirgacheffe's Kochere district. Processing up to 950,000kg of cherries annually from 363 smallholder farmers, Chelelektu stands out for having the widest elevation range in Yirgacheffe spanning 1,300 to 2,200 metres above sea level. Since 2014, the team has focused on infrastructure improvements to enhance their specialty coffee offerings, making this a premium expression of Ethiopian coffee diversity.
