For Adelaide locals, Coffylosophy is no secret. It’s known as one of the best spots in town for a cracking coffee.
Harsh is the owner of this well-known spot and from day one, it’s always been about the coffee.
Coffylosophy opened over 2 ½ years ago, but before Harsh opened the doors did he felt like the whole town knew about it! “Locals support locals” says Harsh, so within a few weeks of commencing renovations he was getting enquiries as to when he was opening. “People just started walking in, so before we knew it we were open!”
Harsh prides himself on delivering a specialty coffee experience to each and every one of his customers. He offers Veneziano’s Forza blend, serving over 45kg a week! He also runs a rotating single origin schedule from Veneziano, offering these as espresso or V60 filter coffee. He saw filter coffee as an opportunity to do something a little different, so it’s been part of his offering right from the beginning. In summer he loves the theatre his cold drip tower provides.
Just recently Coffylosophy has undergone some kitchen renovations to extend their food offering to a full service, made-to-order menu. While Harsh insists it will always be about the coffee, he recognised the need to keep stepping it up, and for Coffylosophy, a small food menu made with fresh, local and quality ingredients is where it’s at. He partners with local suppliers to offer customers a great variety of dishes.
All your favorite breakfast dishes are there, including a breakfast burrito (!), an extensive salad menu complete with antioxidant salad, six mouthwatering burgers (just add tater tots!!) and a bunch of all day meals and sweet treats.
Harsh is one of the most passionate, excitable people you’ll meet, so one Coffylosophy just isn’t enough! Expect Coffylosophy number two at some point in the near future.
