Peek behind the scenes at our HQ and roastery. Learn about your coffee's journey from cherry (yes, coffee beans come from a fruit!) to your cup. Discover what goes into producing exceptional coffee at origin, and see how our roasters perfect every roast.
Coffee Tasting
Slurp your way through a guided tasting session as you explore different origins, varieties and processing methods, and discover how each one shapes the flavour in your cup. You might even leave with a new favourite coffee!
Barista Crash Course
Get hands-on behind the coffee machine and learn the basics of making great coffee, just as our baristas do every day. Then put your new skills to the test and try your hand at some latte art, hearts, rosettas or abstract blobs - it all tastes just as good!

Veneziano has been brewing in Melbourne since 2002. Starting in our small roastery on Bond Street and now just down the road in our HQ on River St.
In fact we're the home of current Australian Barista Champion Gab Tan and many Roasting and Barista Champions of coffees past.

Who is this tour for?
Anyone who loves coffee! So many of us drink it every day yet don't know what a coffee cherry looks like (yes your coffee comes from a fruit!). This tour is designed for the curious. Those who want to know a little bit more. And taste a little bit more, and even make a little bit more. A fun hands on experience learning a little bit more about what goes into your cup.
How long is the tour?
About 2 hours!
How many people can join the tour?
Each session capped at 8 guests so it stays hands-on and personal.
What's included in lunch?
Lunch is served in the Richmond café at the end of your tour, with around 30 minutes set aside — though you're welcome to stay longer.
Do I get to take anything home?
Yes — every guest leaves with a bag of The Melbourne Blend, our crowd-favourite roast that celebrates our Melbourne roots.
Where is the tour held, and is there parking?
Our Coffee Tours are held at the Veneziano HQ, Roastery and Cafe located at 16 River St Richmond.
Limited, off-street parking is available and we are a short 5 minute walk from tram stops on Bridge Road.
Is the tour wheelchair accessible?
Unfortunately not. Guests view the roastery from a dedicated viewing platform rather than entering the production floor.
Is there an age limit?
We recommend guests be 13 and over, to keep the experience enjoyable for the whole group.
Do I need special footwear or clothing?
Nope — come as you are.
Can you accommodate dietary requirements?
Yes — we'll ask about any dietary requirements when you book.
What's your cancellation policy?
Cancel more than 24 hours ahead and you're eligible for a refund. Within 24 hours, we'll help you reschedule instead. No-shows aren't refunded.
Can I book for a private or corporate group?
