Last week, Victorian Barista Champion Gab Tan teamed up with our wholesale team and the incredible crew at Notorious Espresso to host something truly special - a cupping session featuring the finest single origins from Nicaragua's Cup of Excellence program. Set in Melbourne's vibrant outer western suburbs, this collab at Notorious brought together coffee enthusiasts, industry professionals, and first time cuppers for an evening dedicated to exploring the exceptional flavours that Nicaragua has to offer.

The night was all about discovery and connection. Gab's expert guidance walked attendees through over 25 coffees, from the bright, complex profiles that make these Cup of Excellence winners so extraordinary, to the stories behind the dedicated farmers who crafted them. Our wholesale team shared insights into the sourcing process and the journey these exceptional beans take from farm to cup, creating an educational experience that went far beyond just tasting great coffee.
