A victim of the coffee bean quality crisis

"I loved this blend when I first subscribed to it at 1 kg every four weeks. I make flat whites in a hand-lever La Pavoni at home. The last two 1 kg bags, shipped in late 2025, are harsh, bitter, no longer the gorgeous chocolatey experience they once were. Is this is a symptom of a global decline of availability of excellent beans, post-pandemic? The best beans are probably still being offered as single origins, but compelling, dark-roasted blends currently hard to find."
