Ever wondered who's keeping the good vibes flowing at our Richmond cafe? This month, we're putting the spotlight on Charlie; our Cafe Supervisor who's become a familiar face to anyone who's walked through those doors. Whether he's greeting customers front of house or dialling in behind the machine, Charlie has a way of making every visit feel like a regular haunt. No two days are the same, and that's exactly how he likes it.
Hey Charlie, tells us your role in the Veneziano crew.
"I'm the Cafe Supervisor at our Richmond cafe, so you'll usually find me front of house greeting customers, brewing behind the machine, and helping make sure everyone has a great experience every time they visit. No two days are ever quite the same — and that's part of what I love most."

Morning go-to brew?
"A strong cappuccino made with our house blend, Elevate. It's smooth, chocolatey, and always a good way to start the day."
What's your Veneziano pick this month?
"This month, I can't go past our new Melbourne Blend. It's tasting super sweet and seriously delicious. After a shift, I also love winding down with an iced filter brew."

Any fun facts we should know about you?
"I've lived in five different states across Australia, but Melbourne feels most like home. I also used to play basketball semi-professionally in Queensland in the NBL1 competition and I'm a diehard Chicago Bulls supporter."
"I love travel and food, and I've just come back from a trip to Kyoto, Japan — honestly a sensory overload in the best possible way. If I had to choose a perfect meal, it'd be San Choy Bow."

But perhaps the most remarkable chapter in Charlie's story is a more personal one. Last year, Charlie won his battle with advanced stage 4 Lymphoma - a life-changing experience that's left him wanting to give something back. Every month in Australia, 86 kids are diagnosed with cancer. This March, Charlie is challenging himself to walk 150km to help raise funds and support the search for a cure.
