Nestled in on a beautiful treelined road, you’ll find Saabi on Manson. Owners James and Andrew have completed some extensive renovations since they bought this business in March 2014.
The first thing was to expand to allocate more seating. “We wanted a place where people could just come and enjoy the environment” said Andrew. With the recently completed outdoor space behind the cafe, customers can now enjoy a quiet spot to relax. It’s also worth mentioning, this is a dog friendly cafe. Be sure to bring your four legged friend because they are most welcome, who knows, they may just find them on Saabi’s Instagram page.
Inside you will find an interesting mix of wares, borderline vintage to eclectic. It’s refreshing to see the old being repurposed into new.
Saabi on Manson offer Veneziano’s Forza blend as their house blend, with a rotating offering of single origins.
Their lunch menu is quick, fresh and flavoursome. With choices ranging around $10 – $16.
Today, lunch was the Haloumi Stack – $14.50 a generous sized corn fritter with avocado, tomato, fried egg and haloumi. Totally delish.
Alternatives are: Saabi Stack, Brioche French Toast or the good old classic Eggs Bernadette. If you are after a fresh smoothie they have a great range to chose from.
