Australian Men's Health Magazine recently published their top 5 coffee machines for 2022. Included in the list is the Opal One specialty pod machine from Veneziano.

Dubbed the Master Barista the magazine ranked the Opal One machine a maximum 5/5 for Ease of Use, 4.5/5 for how it works and 4/5 for design.

This week at the heritage-listed Kensington Town Hall built in 1901, ASCA held their 2022 Southern and Western Region Coffee Championships. Team Veneziano was represented by Gabrel Tan in the Barista Championship and David Chun in the Brewers Cup and both performed strongly in their first coffee competition.

Last week under the beating summer sun in Milan at the World Coffee Championships, Dan Shadbolt did Australia and Veneziano proud putting in a consistent and solid roasting performance over the three day contest.

In Dan's first visit to the World Championships he placed in 12th position with a final points score of 458.08. The top three on the podum in order were Felix Teiretzbacher (Austria), Simo Christidi (Norway) and Wisnu Aji (Indonesia).

Dan Shadbolt, Operations Manager for Veneziano Coffee Roasters is currently in Milan, Italy competing at the World Coffee Roasting Championships. Dan is competing for Team Australia against competitors from 23 other countries.
